WHAT HAPPENS IN A CUDDLE SESSION?
First of all, thank you for your interest in cuddling. I have been a pro cuddler for over a year in Chicago and the experience has been both humbling and gratifying. I have completed online training thru Cuddlist.com and been certified by them. I have attended their cuddle parties, in-person training sessions, and on-going phone conference training on client care. In addition to learning about the array of touch options available, we are also educated on the Code of Conduct to observe during cuddle sessions.
We learn about the importance of "holding space" for a client. That means we learn to create a safe, welcoming space, to listen to a client without judgement, to maintain a platonic environment. We teach clients how to ask for what they want out of a session, and to be assertive in telling us if any touch is uncomfortable, unwelcome or in any way non-nurturing.
I offer cuddle sessions in my home on the north side of Chicago, near Montrose and the lake. It is a large secure building with 24 hour front desk security. I can prepare for our session by burning a subtle, essential oil fragrance before you arrive -- Clementine Orange, or Green Tea, or Aloe. There is soothing music playing in the background. Usually alternative or instrumental.
What happens in a cuddle? That's pretty much up to you. See the pictures on this page for some ideas. Cuddle Session time is devoted to you and your touch needs, as long as they are within the Code of Conduct (see RULES page). You can come to the session with some ideas of how you would like to cuddle, or I can provide suggestions and we can make it up as we go along.
